Mika Tennekoon is a Sri Lanka–based visual artist working in painting and mixed media. Her practice draws on motherhood and transformation, exploring the divine feminine, local culture, and the natural environment. She holds an MFA in Painting, along with qualifications in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, and Printmaking. With over fifteen years of international experience in advertising and design, her work is informed by movement, place, and the shifting rhythms of Sri Lanka’s southern and eastern coasts, where she divides her time.
