Robert Funke was born in Leipzig in 1985. He completed his studies at Berlin’s Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in 2014. As co-founder and former editor of FOG; a magazine and platform for documentary works, he is particularly interested in long-term photographic projects as well as portraits and reportages. So far his photographic works have been exhibited in Berlin, Karlsruhe, Wiesbaden, Hanover, Cottbus (Germany), Montpellier and in Brest (France). Robert currently lives and works in Sri Lanka as a freelance photographer.
