This photographic series was created in the dry lands of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, during two moments — under moonlight and in the morning mist. I started taking these photos without a clear plan, guided only by instinct. At first, the work felt romantic, focused on the beauty of nature. Over time, I began to notice something deeper — a quiet tension between calm and chaos. The landscape appears gentle yet unpredictable, fragile yet strong. Through these photographs, I look for meaning beyond idealizing nature, exploring it not as an escape but as a living space shaped by contrast, uncertainty, and small changes.
