Jonathan Lim is a photojournalist from Penang, Malaysia. His work is a celebration of subtle stories, of in-between moments, everyday living and the often overlooked. Nature, culture and travel often intersect in his portraits of people, spaces and places.

Apart from working with people and brands close to his heart across Penang, Kuala Lumpur and the region, he wears the hat of Chief Storyteller at an award-winning garden where he established and continues to nurture a growing community. Jonathan also works on long-term documentary projects, capturing life in the circus and more recently, the journey of a Malaysian NGO in bringing simple sustainable solutions to rural and underprivileged communities. When the time allows, he photographs and writes for his own pleasure.
